EMILY G. MILLER, DVM
Practice Owner / Veterinarian
Born and raised in Loveland, Ohio, Dr. Emily Miller developed a deep love for animals at an early age. A graduate of Cincinnati Country Day School, she went on to earn her degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, where her passion for animal care and environmental stewardship continued to grow.

After college, she worked at a farm animal sanctuary in upstate New York—an experience that deepened her commitment to veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University, completing her clinical training at The Ohio State University.

In January 2020, Dr. Miller proudly purchased Milford Village Veterinary Clinic from Dr. David Merry, continuing its longstanding tradition of compassionate, community-centered care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Miller is an avid equestrian who competes in horse shows and finds great joy spending time at the barn. She also loves relaxing with her family and her pack of beloved dogs, who never fail to keep life lively and full of love.

He began working full-time at MVVC in 1978 and went on to purchase the practice from Dr. Clarke in 1994. Under his leadership, the clinic expanded and modernized—most notably with the addition of a full surgical suite in 1997—allowing MVVC to grow into the comprehensive, trusted practice it is today.

Known for his skill, compassion, and steady presence, Dr. Merry has touched the lives of countless pets and their families over the years. His commitment to excellence and mentorship helped shape the next generation of MVVC veterinarians, including Dr. Emily Miller, who continues his legacy of compassionate care.

In his free time, Dr. Merry enjoys spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters Paige, Brooke, and the newest addition, Ellie. He also enjoys tackling home and building projects that keep his hands as busy as his mind.
